BUCHANAN PUTS REFORM ON BALLOT IN ARIZONA
Buchanan Reform 2000 Committee

June 12, 2000
VIENNA, VA.

Today, Buchanan Reform announced that it had succeeded in putting the Reform Party on the ballot in Arizona. Buchanan Reform turned in to Arizona’s Secretary of State more than 20,000 certified signatures; 13,569 were required.

The Arizona ballot drive marks the sixth state that the Buchanan forces had secured a ballot position for the Reform Party. Said Reform candidate Pat Buchanan: “We’re headed to be on the ballot in all fifty states. Our folks in Arizona, led by Reform Party activist John Gilbert, have done an outstanding job. The two party beltway duopoly is headed for the graveyard. Arizona voters will have a real choice when they go to the polls in November.”

RICHARDSON MUST RESIGN!

It Is Time For Monica Lewinsky "Greaser" To Go

LOSS OF SECRETS AT LOS ALAMOS RISE TO LEVEL OF CRIMINAL OFFENSES BY CLINTON-GORE ADMINISTRATION

(Washington, DC) With the recent revelations of the loss of still more nuclear secrets in Los Alamos, coming on the heels of previous debacles concerning Wen Ho Lee and others, it is time for there to be some accountability. During the Clinton-Gore Administration few, if any, public officials have lost their jobs over the continuing and growing scandal culture; most notably Secretary of Defense William Cohen and his press secretary, Kenneth Bacon, who released government Privacy Act secrets to smear Linda Tripp. However, the loss of virtually all of our nation's nuclear secrets during this Administration renders even the Tripp outrage minor in comparison.

Secretary of Energy Bill Richardson, who previously narrowly escaped prosecution for being Bill Clinton's "greaser" in the Monica Lewinsky scandal (through making personal visits to her Watergate condo and offering her jobs at the U.N., obviously in exchange for keeping her mouth shut), must immediately resign and face potential prosecution for the loss of nuclear secrets. Given the Clinton-Gore Administration sympathy towards Communist China and Castro's Cuba, it is not beyond the realm of possibility that foreign or other agents were allowed into the lab and that these agents purloined these secrets. If Richardson knew or should have known that this is what occurred, he should also be indicted, just like Wen Ho Lee.

"It is not beyond the realm of possibility that Clinton-Gore Administration officials have participated either knowingly or negligently in the compromise of U.S. national security for the benefit of foreign countries. Recent revelations that the Clinton-Gore Administration was in bed with Fidel Castro over the Elian Gonzalez matter, the proven illegal contributions from Communist China into the Clinton-Gore campaigns, and the ‘turnstile' acceptance of Communist arms dealers and intelligence officers in visiting The White House, all point to the likelihood that the Clinton-Gore Administration has worked, either knowingly or negligently, with foreign and/or domestic agents to compromise the national security of the United States -- all in exchange for campaign contributions and other ‘under-the-table' benefits," stated Judicial Watch Chairman and General Counsel Larry Klayman.

MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL ‘STRIKES OUT' ON DISCRIMINATION BY BALTIMORE ORIOLES

Commissioner ‘Bud' Selig Refuses To Take Action

Orioles Spokesmen Admitted to Discriminatory Conduct by Club

(Washington, DC) Judicial Watch announced today that Major League Baseball will not take any action in response to a request for an investigation into the Baltimore Orioles admitted practice of refusing to hire Cuban defectors. Baseball Commissioner Allan "Bud" Selig, in a letter dated June 9 to Judicial Watch, declined to take any action concerning the Orioles, citing an unspecified "administrative proceeding" as an excuse.

Pointing to Major League Baseball's actions against Marge Schott and John Rocker, Judicial Watch had asked Selig to investigate the Baltimore Orioles and its owner Peter Angelos after their spokesmen admitted that, at the direction of owner Peter Angelos, the Orioles had a policy of refusing to hire Cuban defectors. This admitted practice would be in violation of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986, which prohibit this type of discriminatory conduct. (Judicial Watch is also pursuing a complaint against the Orioles and Angelos with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.)

"Selig's refusal to take any action concerning the Orioles and Angelos is morally bankrupt. It seems if you're a woman (Marge Schott) who makes inappropriate racial comments or a young man (John Rocker) who makes ‘politically incorrect' statements, Major League Baseball will come down on you like a ton of bricks. But if you're a politically influential, ‘good ol' boy' owner whose spokesmen have admitted to actual discriminatory conduct, Major League Baseball will give you a pass," stated Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton.

NEW DOCUMENTS SHOW CLINTON ADMINISTRATION ‘COLLABORATED' WITH CUBA ON ELIAN GONZALEZ

Documents Also Show INS Knew It Didn't Have Legal Basis To Force Elian's Return

INS Documents Were Turned Over to Judicial Watch Under Court Order – Contradict Clinton-Gore Administration Spin

(Washington, DC) Further refuting recent spin by Clinton-Gore Administration spokesmen, additional Clinton-Gore Administration documents uncovered by Judicial Watch, Inc. in its lawsuits show that the Clinton-Gore Administration "collaborated" with Cuba on the Elian Gonzalez matter. Copies of these additional documents are available at Judicial Watch's Internet site at www.judicialwatch.org.

The documents were turned over to Judicial Watch recently by the Clinton-Gore Justice Department as part of its Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit against the Justice Department and Immigration and Naturalization Service to obtain underlying information on the Elian Gonzalez saga. A federal court judge appointed by President Clinton, James Robertson, ordered that the Justice Department begin turning over the documents to Judicial Watch on April 26, 2000.

Just yesterday, the Clinton-Gore Administration turned over a December, 1999 e-mail showing that INS Commissioner Doris Meissner, as part of the most "beneficial" litigation strategy, sought to work with the State Department and the Communist Cuban government to arrange a secret meeting with Juan Miguel Gonzalez – despite evidence that he was being coerced by the Cuban government. Additionally, an undated e-mail produced last week shows that the INS knew it had no legal basis to act on behalf of Juan Miguel Gonzalez. The document states that the "INS is giving him rights in violation of law."

"When will the Clinton-Gore Administration begin telling the truth about their collaboration with the Castro regime? As part of their ‘litigation' strategy, they sought to conspire with Fidel Castro to obtain a secret meeting with Elian's father. The Administrations actions were despicable and contrary to what they had been publicly telling the courts and the American people, " said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton.

Judicial Watch is a public interest law firm that investigates and prosecutes government corruption. It is pursuing civil rights lawsuits against Janet Reno and others on behalf of Elian's rescuer Donato Darylmple and the other peaceful Americans outside the home of Elian Gonzalez's relatives' home on the night of the raid.
