Casey Nethercott, the owner of the Arizona ranch where Operation Thunderbird is ongoing, was thrown into jail on Monday 1 March 2004 on the authority of nothing more than Arizona Governor, Janet Napolitano's signature alone. His civil rights have been stripped, and he is being held without bond.

Call her office, and let them know that you are against her charging, and arresting Casey under the Patriot Act! They arrested him, without any charges! Do we see how the Patriot Act is now being abused against taxpaying citizens? If she can't protect Arizona citizens in her state, then she should be recalled from office.

If everyone we know would send just one letter to Casey, it would lift his spirits tremendously. Casey is is insulin-dependent. If everyone would send a money order (NOT CASH) for just one dollar, made out to Casey, he would then be able to buy packaged snack food from the jail store that is NOT spiked with sugar, which his Pima County jailers will no doubt try to do.

They are prosecuting Casey for no other reason than to silence him. He protected his life and private property, because the authorities do not protect law abiding taxpaying citizens. They are labeling anyone who breaks the law a "terrorist" even for misdemeanors, so they can deny them the rights of due process. He did not break the law, which sent him to jail for 56 days last year, and had witnesses at trial. It is not only his God given right to protect his life, but his 2nd. amendment rights that have been infringed.
