SIGN THE PETITION TO MAKE THE PLEDGE A PART OF OUR CONSTITUTION

UPDATE! FIRST BATCH OF PETITIONS SENT TO THE SPEAKER!

Dear Americans,

Yesterday I sent you an email about the attack on the Pledge of Allegiance by the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals. They ruled that the pledge is unconstitutional because of the phrase, "one nation under God".

This ruling is so egregious that we simply cannot ignore it.

That is why our petition at MillionsofAmericans.com urges the House and the Senate to introduce a constitutional amendment that will make the Pledge of Allegiance part of the Constitution.

As I write this, nearly 40,000 of you have signed the petition, and that number is still climbing. You are making yourselves heard at an amazing rate.

Today we delivered the first batch of petitions to the Speaker of the House, Dennis Hastert.

We will continue to send your petitions to Congress as they come in.

Article 5 of the Constitution says:

"The Congress, whenever two thirds of both houses shall deem it necessary, shall propose amendments to this Constitution, or, on the application of the legislatures of two thirds of the several states, shall call a convention for proposing amendments, which, in either case, shall be valid to all intents and purposes, as part of this Constitution, when ratified by the legislatures of three fourths of the several states, or by conventions in three fourths thereof, as the one or the other mode of ratification may be proposed by the Congress..."

You are a part of history. The Framers could not have anticipated the power of the internet. But they would have loved the idea that thousands of individual Americans could instantly petition their representatives in Congress to safeguard the very principles upon which our nation was founded.

This campaign is picking up steam. Now is not the time to let up!

Please, if you have not already, go to the link below and sign the petition to the Congress. Tell them to protect the Pledge of Allegiance.

Also, PLEASE FORWARD THIS TO YOUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY.

Tell them how important it is for them to sign the petition to protect the Pledge of Allegiance.

Thank you so much for your support.

For America,

Bruce Eberle

P.S. We are having a tremendous impact! Sign the petition and protect the pledge today!
