Dear Friends,

The message below comes from a patriot friend in Colorado. I wish to add a few words of my own.

The new book mentioned, by Randy Weaver of Ruby Ridge, was written in collaboration with Sheriff Richard Mack of UT. You will notice Richard is running as a Libertarian for the office of governor of UT. Some of you may have read about Richard in the August Libertarian news, where he was profiled. If any of you have influence, family or friends in UT. I suggest you encourage them to attend some of Richard's rallies. He is a talented and informed speaker. While Richard worked as a representative of GOA and traveled in the PNW, I became acquainted with him and his lovely family. Over coffee and homemade cookies we chatted about many different issues that concerned us. You would have to walk many miles to find a better man than Richard Mack. For those of you who use the power of the pen, please consider writing something about Sheriff Mack that would draw some positive attention to him. I noticed while reading on his site, the newspapers are saying he is out of step with the people of UT. He comes from the far religious right, radical in his thinking, etc. etc. Could that be because Richard takes to heart the scripture, "be ye hot or cold, or I will spew you out?" I am willing to bet if any of you were to spend just a few minutes talking with Richard you would be as assured as I am that he is a person with strong leadership abilities and a no nonsense stance that this country is in great need of. He is a clear thinker, articulate, and presents his thoughts with the comfort and ease of a man who knows his own mind and is established in truth. Regardless of how much or how little change we can bring about at this point and time, I am still a believer in that we MUST choose a side and take a stand there. I have often asked, where are the men? Who can we look to for leadership? Well, in my opinion, one has stood up and volunteered, so if you agree, please do what you can to let him know his effort is well appreciated.

Thank you for your tolerence. It's a long post, and I appreciate your time.

Here is an excerpt from an article about the book:

Randy Weaver , in collaboration with Sheriff Richard Mack , has taken a look back at the ten years following the tragedy he suffered at the hands of renegade federal agents. They have produced a new book entitled Vicki, Sam, and America: How the Government Killed all Three.

From Weaver's vantage point, the problem has not been addressed, and America continues to suffer under the yoke of unaccountable power exercised beyond the limits of the U.S. Constitution.
